Dear Mr. Breshin:
This letter has been a long time in coming. I have been an inner city school teacher for L.A.U.S.D since 1991. I happen to be a friend of Hal Netkin and have been following his correspondence with you. When I was terminated by the District for "cultural insensitivity" toward "people of color" on bogus charges, being accused of teaching my students Hebrew instead of Spanish (I'm a Spanish teacher), people asked me incredulously, "Why haven't you turned to the ADL?"
What a cruel joke! Sir, I am an orthodox rabbi who, at Dorsey High School, had my classroom burned to the ground, received death threats from students, and was assaulted. It never occurred to me to contact you! You represent the end result of a Marxist/ radical Left movement within the Jewish people that is cancerous, and must be eliminated in order for America to survive. Nothing more, nothing less.
Let's forget for the moment that you and I are "co-religionists." Let's forget about the 2000 years of pogroms, holocausts, and outrageous persecution of our people. (Well, actually, let's not forget one thing: THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF YOUR BEING IS TO PROTECT PEOPLE LIKE ME!). Let's restrict ourselves strictly to the survival of our country, AMERICA. Where do you fit in? What makes you think that you can continue to undercut our national security and marginalize patriots like Jim Gilchrist and others from the Minute Men. Sir, I tell you: I will spend the Sabbath with righteous Gentiles such as the Minutemen before I break bread with the likes of you. Why? Because no one likes a backstabber and a turncoat. Nothing's changed since Cain and Able. Anyone who is willing to sell out the very country that has provided for them sustenance and security, a blessing for the Jewish people, will certainly not bow before the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and therefore will be an impediment to those who seek real solutions for the most urgent of national issues. Even the ancient Egyptians, even their horrific crime of killing the first-born Israelites, were pardoned by the Sovereign of the Universe, only by virtue of their providing sustenance for the Jewish people during times of famines. How much more so should we do everything to insure the preservation and well-being of the greatest experiment in human history, the United States of America.
A few years back, when an illegal alien accused me (obviously falsely) of trying to kill him in order to have me removed from my El Sereno classroom, my keys were immediately handed over to the principal, and I was suspended from teaching. Gone was income my family needed to survive. Gone was my position as a teacher in the District. Mr. Breshin, this isn't some theory that you and your elitist, Leftist, Marxist Jewish salon-members scuttlebutt around. This is real. I am a Jew, you decided not to help me. Let me tell you why: the golden rule amongst Leftist/Jewish groups like yourselves is not to rock the boat when it comes to minorities. It's "let's leave them alone, maybe they'll leave us alone." No sir, that's not the way it's done. There are truly radical, fascist, anti Semitic "minorities" that will one day (probably sooner than you think), impact your very existence in this country. By kowtowing and pandering to them, you simply strengthen them. In the process, you've given them your "kosher" stamp of approval, and a green light that they can count on the Jewish community for support and comfort for their seditious and illegal activities in undermining this great Republic.
Sir, let me tell you: I speak better Spanish than most Mexicans, and I have lived in Mexico for 5 years. When I contracted malaria and attempted to get to a Mexican clinic, the first thing the doctor told me was: "Pal, you're out of luck here. There's not a damn thing we can do for Gringos like you. You better hope you can survive long enough to make it to the next plane to Los Angeles." So much for your concept of fairness and "multi multiculturalism".
I have nothing but contempt for Leftist Jewish leaders like yourself, who fall over backwards in their zeal to make this a third-world country, a polyglot Babylon where there is no G-d, no rule of law, and everything is just as Lenin would have wished for you!
I will make a motion in our synagogue that there should be a special prayer amended to the liturgy: "May the G-d of our Fathers deal with traitors and fifth-columnists in our midst." Amen
